Cudjoe Key is “Upper End” for the most part but not as expensive as Summerland. Most of the houses on Cudjoe are on the Atlantic side. There is one small section of canal lot houses on the Gulf side and a few smaller mobile home rental parks. The houses on the Gulf side range from $400,000 to $500,000 for the dry lot houses to anywhere in between $700,000 to $1,500,000 for the canal homes. The Atlantic side is about 90% canal and open water homes with a small handful of dry lot homes. There is also a resort-style gated mobile home community with all the amenities you would expect from a luxury community. When I call it a “Mobile home community”, I don’t mean a typical trailer park. These mobile homes start around $300,000 and some sell for close to $1,000,000. Most of the houses on the Atlantic side of Cudjoe Key will sell in between $400,000 and $550,000. The canal homes usually sell in between $650,000 and $900,000 and open water homes in between $800,000 up to $2,000,000. There is one subdivision on Cudjoe Key called “Cudjoe Gardens which is very different than the rest of Cudjoe so I will give Cudjoe Gardens its own separate description.
The houses on Cudjoe Key are used as a mixture of owner-occupied, rental homes and snowbird winter get away second homes.
