Little Torch Key is one Key down from Big Pine Key. It is somewhat cut in half by US 1 as far as the homes go. On the Gulf side of Little Torch, you’ll find houses about the same price as Big Pine. On the Atlantic side of Little Torch is a subdivision called Jolly Roger Estate which is higher-end homes. Jolly Roger has deep water boating allowing for larger boats, a full-service marina and fuel dock, and no bridges to go under allowing sailboats and bigger powerboats like Sportfisherman’s. Houses in Jolly Roger Estates will be primarily priced from $650,000 on the low end up to around $,500,000 0n the high end.
A lot of the Keys Labor force also lives on the Gulf side due to the prices and close proximity to the restaurants and grocery store on Big Pine which is about a 5-10 minute drive. Little Torch is one island up from Ramrod Key which has two restaurants and a nice Tiki Bar that caters mostly to the younger crowd and locals. Little Torch is a little closer to Key West than Big Pine but still an easy commute to both.
